In today’s blog, I will show you how to use the fastest and easiest pin design tool – Tailwind Create.

If you are a blogger, then you probably know how impactful Pinterest is for your traffic. As a new blogger, creating a Business Pinterest account and pinning your new blog posts is a must to draw attention to your growing website! However, designing click-worthy pins can be so time-consuming. And let’s face it – nobody has time to create batches of new pins every day, right?

This is why I will show you how to create pins without much effort:

What is Tailwind

Before we dive into the creation part, let’s talk about Tailwind.

If you are not familiar with Tailwind – it is the ultimate Pinterest treasure tool. For me, Tailwind makes Pinterest and Instagram (you can schedule your Instagram posts and a lot more with Tailwind) easy and not as time-consuming.

Through Tailwind, you can not only schedule your pins but also join Tailwind Communities. Once you join a community, you can start connecting with other creators, promoting your pins, and growing together.

A few of my favorite features of Tailwind are:

  • It’s incredibly user-friendly. The user interface is effortless, and there are tons of helpful guides that allow you to make the most of Tailwind and Pinterest
  • You can easily schedule anything with the Tailwind Publisher browser extension. If you see something you love, you can just click on the picture, and it will be saved in your drafts.
  • It shows what your optimal posting time is and when your pins will get the most engagement.
  • You can also check how your pins, website clicks, and engagement perform through the analytics tools.
  • You can create beautiful designs with it

What is Tailwind Create

Tailwind Create is the newest Tailwind feature that allows you to create designer-worthy pins in 4 easy steps. Tailwind Creates uses intuitive AI that makes pins look effortless. Templates, branding elements, editing, photos, and text are combined in dozens of designs from which you can choose!

The best part is that Tailwind offers a free trial in which you can try all features, including Tailwind Create. With this free trial, you can create up to 15 designs per month, schedule up to 100 pins on Pinterest, and 30 posts on Instagram.

Btw, if you want to make use of everything that Tailwind offers for both Instagram and Pinterest, you can snag a pretty good deal until the 31st of January, 2021.

Benefits of Using Tailwind Create

While I was using the creator, I saw 3 immediate benefits:

  • Saves time

The biggest benefit of Tailwind Create is that you save so much time! And let’s keep it real – we are all for making our life a bit simpler, right?

  • Variety in designs

Once you preselect the most vital pin information, you will enter a page full of great designs from which you can choose and edit to your taste.

  • User-friendly

Tailwind Create offers a great alternative in place of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other professional editing programs. With it, you don’t have to have an eye for detail or any graphic design knowledge.

First, you need to have your blog post link ready and paste it into the destination link space. Then you can add a title of the text you want to appear in your design. Lastly, you need to choose photos that you want to be used in the designs. You can use your own website photos, stock photos, or upload them manually.

3.     Preview the designs

After you have done everything from step 2, it is time for the fun part – choosing your templates’ designs! You can preview so many pre-made templates where you can edit and modify them!

You can also filter your designs based on content type, industry, and pin format:

  • Content Type

You can choose the content typebased on what your blog post is about, such as blog post, opt-in offer, sale, recipe, product, trending, etc.

  • Industry

You can choose in which industry your website is, and based on your niche, the creator will provide suggestions. You can choose from blog/b2c, education, entertainment, fashion, DIY, and many other categories.

  • Pin Format

Depending on your post, you can choose the pin format that will best portray your topic – “how-to” blog post, product post, blog post type image, include CTA, ads post, etc.

Once you have browsed around, you can start selecting the designs that caught your eye, edit them if you want, and finalize your selection!

  1. Cool! I used to have a Tailwind subscription, but I stopped using it after a month, and I allowed the subscription to run its course. I didn’t see any uptick in my stats despite pinning a few times a day. On the contrary, my manual pins did much better! Due to this disparity, I never found the motivation to explore Tailwind Create either. Nevertheless, it is still interesting to see how it works after hearing all about it. Thanks for sharing!

    1. I’ve heard many contradicting opinions about using Tailwind – either their traffic exploded, or as in your case – not much change. From my experience, I haven’t experienced any negative impact on my impressions 🙂

  2. This a great and informative article! I am new to Pinterest and have heard a lot about this tool but didn’t really know much about it. I will need to check out Tailwind now. Thanks for sharing!
